Eleven is my Doctor. I’ve watched a serious chunk of classic Who and all of new Who and I just connect with Eleven on a level I haven’t had with other Doctors, even ones I otherwise adore.
So seeing him freak the hell out, in a way I don’t think we’ve seen from any new Who Doctor, was totally heartbreaking. The scene with the chapter titles, the scene on the staircase, and of course the end. I can’t even.
Bravo to Moffs on making the Doctor as vulnerable and (dare I say) human as I’ve ever seen him. Now I feel the need to watch him be silly and goofy to take my mind off things.
